The Press

Our independent small press devoted to the sublime. From musings on the gothic to meditations on nature, ancient folklore to romantic poetry, inspired by the spirit of all the small presses that came before, printing their radical pamphlets in hope of a spiritual revolution. We oppose the use of generative AI and aim to offer a DIY sanctuary from the tyranny of big business. Nostromo began life as our record label over a decade ago. It has always been a place where we were free to explore and experiment with complete freedom, first through music and now through the medium of self published zines and books. Each one imbued with a comforting darkness, one that protects and nourishes the spirit, rather than destroys.

Burn the candle, light the dark.
